My weight began when I was 12/13 years old, I have tried every diet known, also Hypnosis, Acupuncture and slimming pills, each time
loosing some weight, only to gain even more. I stuggled like this for over twenty years. I then read an article written by a Doctor who
said 'obesity is an illness and not self inflicted ----- on reading this I decided to try and get some help. It was a long hard
struggle, which took over three years. I was finally put in touch with Dr Ashton from Healthier Weight, after speaking with him for just
15mins I was elated, for the first time, somebody had listened to me, understood my problems, and did not make me feel it was my own
fault or that I was a freak. For the first time I felt there was hope. In September 2008 I had a Gastric Bypass carried out by Mr Basil
Amori, from that day I have never looked back, I can never thank Dr Aston and his devoted staff enough for their help and support, Over
the last two years I have lost over 13 stone and my life has been restored, I have found confidence I did not know I had, I now look
forward to to future. Thank you Dr. Ashton for his understanding, Mr Basil Amori for his skill, to Helen, Stuart and all the wonderful
staff at Healthier Weight, I could never have been where I am today without their help..... Thank you xx

Two and a half years on from surgery weight is stable at last and feeling good. being able to play more golf has improved handicap
greatly Walking now is second nature and shopping for clothes is a pleasure not an embarrassing necessity. It has been the best waytogo
!

I am a 64 year old woman who had a lap band inserted with Healthier Weight almost 3 years ago and have been maintaining at my ideal
weight for 3 months now. I have lost 7 stones in total. The service and treatment I received throughout from first assessment by Dr.
Ashton to follow ups after surgery has been totally professional. All the staff involved with the company are so friendly and they
almost feel like family now because I feel I know them so well. They are totally non-judgemental and I can call them at any time for
