Over the last few months I have been under the care of Mr Ankur Barua at Midland Eye and would highly recommend both. Midland Eye
itself is very clean, has a really calm atmosphere, has state-of-the-art equipment and has polite, friendly staff. Following amazing
care within the NHS for a previous eye problem I knew I definitely wanted Mr Barua to perform my private eye surgery. You could not
wish to find a more thorough, meticulous or caring consultant. He explains everything very clearly and on your level; and has the most
calming, reassuring manner that puts you at ease immediately. An exemplary consultant and a truly kind and lovely man. If you are
considering eye surgery I would definitely recommend Midland Eye and genuinely cannot recommend Mr Ankur Barua highly enough.

Very helpful and kind. Surgeons all professional and explain what they are going to do and why regarding your treatment. My first
experience was not straightforward and needed patience because of extreme sensitivity but the end result good. My second experience in
December was different and everything back to normal almost immediately. Staff /Receptionists are considerate - only negative side is
the very small waiting area before and after the operation where people are coming and going to speak to Receptionists. Too much going
on in such a small area but it would not put me off.
