I was fortunate enough to meet Mr El-Amir earlier this year. I have had a Cataract in my right eye for a number of years but in the
last 18 months it has got significantly worse. I am a patient who only has one good eye as my left eye is lazy and has never really
contributed much. When I had a cataract assesment in May at my local NHS Hospital the Ophthalmologist told me I needed a Toric Lens, no
discussion or explaination was offered. When I bumped into Mr El-Amir he asked how the assesment went and I explained that I was told I
needed a Toric Lens and didn't get told much else, he explained a few things to me about a Toric Lens that I was completely unaware off.
After getting no response from the consultant I initially saw I decided to book a appointment to see Mr El-Amir. Once he did all the
examinations and measurements he needed he explained that he thought I would be better without the Toric Lens and also explained why.
During this appointment I never felt rushed or that I could not ask any questions. My surgery was 2 weeks ago and it made all the
difference knowing I was in safe hands. You wont meet a more open.honest or genuine Surgeon, Ophthalmologist or person. Thank you Mr

I’m very fortunate to be under the care of Mr El-Amir at his Harley Street Eye practice. I have a complex eye condition which required
dedication, precision timing and his surgical skill to save my eyesight in both eyes over the last few years. His kindness and patience
helped me through the surgeries as well as his generosity with his time and answering every single question I had along the way. I’m
thrilled to report successful surgical outcomes in both eyes and I now have a good understanding of my eye condition. Mr El-Amir
continues to monitor my eyes, its a great relief knowing I can go straight to him with any worries or questions that arise. Thank you
