I recently got referred to Pinehill to see a gynaecologist. I cannot fault the care of my consultant Dr Ahson, however, the
communication surrounding these appointments left a lot to be desired. After my initial appointment I received a call to tell me that my
tests had been lost and as a result I needed to come back in for an appointment the next week. Anyone with a young baby can imagine this
is not always easy due to childcare, in addition it seemed to take the person who was ringing me a long time to simply tell me they had
lost the results, which made me worried something was seriously wrong! I went back in for my follow up appointment a few weeks later to
repeat the tests and my consultant a) had no idea why I had come b) had been given no information from the team and c) ended up telling
me she didn't think I even needed to be seen again. This simply ended up as a complete waste of my time. I still have yet to receive any
test results from Pinehill as I asked the consultant to repeat these as I had travelled out of my way. The care is great at the hospital
but the communication could be greatly improved!!!
