No problems at all with treatment etc. It's what I would expect if I pay. Everybody courteous and respectful.
Beware though if you need
any additional procedures on the day. There is a charge which one would expect, but in my case this charge was not, in my opinion,
adequately itemised so I wound up paying £100+ more than I expected. My experience was I was shown a charge sheet with over 30 charges
for different procedures on it, in font 8 (at best), on grey paper and divided at the top of the page (when one looks closely) into
'service code, hospital and consultant'. and no one when showing the charges took any time to explain or itemise, the different charges
and the final total.
I did query this and point out this difficulty but was told merely that I had signed the charge sheet which,
indeed, I had. The problem of course in the middle of a consultation with levels of high anxiety how many people take time out to read
information that closely unless one's attention is directed towards something?.
So the moral is, take your time, even if in the middle
of a consultation, you are paying for that time. Take as long as you need to fully read and discuss any additional payments before
signing anything. You may be sick and anxious but still ask questions and take time out to fully review the final cost before signing
anything.
