I had considered this treatment for several years and now wish I had done it sooner. From initial consultation to final sclerotherapy
session my treatment from Dr Susie and the team was extremely professional and my mind was put at ease through the process. The clinic
itself is well run and all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The process ran very smoothly from start to finish. It
would be inaccurate for me to say the process is painless either during treatment or in the proceeding week or so however I found the
treatment to be uncomfortable as opposed to very painful. The muscle tightness and pain I felt afterwards was bearable and eased with
over the counter anti inflammatories, which were advised. Also felt a bit uncomfortable wearing the full length compression stockings
for a week but I guess that is to be expected. There was a visible improvement when I first removed the stockings which I was very
pleased with but as explained during all my visits the process would take a while to “settle down” and to take full effect. It’s
now 3 months since my follow up treatment and my legs look and feel so much better. I do a fair bit of running in my spare time and now
have the confidence to bear my legs in public. Before treatment I always felt self conscious wearing shorts in public so thanks to the
team for improving my well being all round. My advise would be for to manage your expectations around pain level and timescales of
results and just go for it, you will not regret it. Thanks again Susie and team.

Firstly I would like to thank the lovely doctor and nurse who looked after me, everything was explain in detail. I had laser and
injections in one leg and injections only in the other. I can honestly say there is no improvement in the appearance of my legs,
which is disappointing, I didn’t expect them to be perfect but did expect some improvement.

I am very sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the current results.



At the follow up appointment, our consultant confirmed via duplex ultrasound that the EVLA had successfully closed the underlying refluxing veins which means that the underlying cause has been treated successfully. I suspect what remains are reticular and thread-veins. 1 in 10 patients will need second treatment session with foam sclerotherapy/microsclerotherapy to tackle these veins as there is a safety limit as to how much of the foam sclerotherapy chemical can be injected during any one session. My treatment plan was fully explained at the first consultation and again on the day of my treatment and subsequent follow up. My only
regret is not taking before and after pictures. Although I wasn't expecting to see instant results, from taking the stockings off just
one week after my first treatment there was already a huge difference. I've now had my follow-up where more treatment was required.
This had already been explained to me and wasn't as indepth as my first treatment. I can't wait to see the full effect in a few
months. I am delighted with the work Susie carried out.

Dr Susie Goodwin is wonderful doctor, she explained me everything about the treatments and answered all my questions. I felt comfortable
and welcomed. One week after treatment I already saw incredible result, and my leg looks amazing and I don’t have any pain or
discomfort. All staff which I met there were highly professional, helpful and friendly. Thank you.

Excellent treatment and service from all staff. Dr. Goodwin and Cathy the nurse. We’re both very professional and welcoming in manner.
They explained the proposed procedures, potential side effects and expected outcomes. I would wholeheartedly recommend the vein centre
