There have been noticeable changes at this hospital since the doors were opened to NHS patients and colleagues of mine have agreed with
this finding. Car parking spaces are limited, reception staff are not so helpful or courteous. Waiting lists have increased and there
is room for error with administration which is equally frustrating.
There used to be a time when you were greeted with a drink and
made to feel at ease at comfortable. I would even go so far to say that the hospital stay was more like a hotel. This is not my
preferred location any longer even though it is nearer to home. As a private patient, I really expect more for my money, especially
when you are paying for private health care.
I was asked to offer this review formally, hence the reason for doing so.

As a hospital, we are aware of our increased capacity issues and the affects these have upon our patients. We are currently reviewing all administration processes, private facilities & Premium Care packages. We will also commence an upgrade of our facilities in July 2014, finishing by September 2014.
Customer service is of the utmost importance to us, and we have recently appointed a new reception lead to move this forward with her team.
Car parking at this facility is an ongoing issue and we are endeavouring to look at offsite parking for the staff as a solution to ensure that all the spaces we have are made available for our patients.
We will, of course, share the comments we have received with the whole hospital team.
