So one week on from treatment to the GSV and the SSV, basically two veins being lasered, one leg only, the surgeon and Amy the assistant
were excellent, first vein was treated whilst I lay on my front, only pain is from the local anaesthetic as you have to have several
injections to numb firstly the entry point and then the length of the vein, by no means painful though. Various tugging and pulling is
evident but not painful.
I then turned and repeated the procedure for my other vein on the same leg, little bit more painful as this is
nearer the shin area.
Discomfort for a couple of days fetr but now just mild bruising left.
I'm a little disappointed I havent seen a
greater lessening of the veins but they are absorbed by the body over a number of weeek so its very early. I am sure they are fading and
certainly dont have the bulging bits that were there previously.
My leg feels lighter and definately better. I'm looking forward to
the next procedure to remove the thread veins I have in 5 weeks time.
Only reason for non 5 starts is that its still too early to
see results.
Wouldnt hesitate to have this treatment again if needed.
Was able to get a cab to the station and then get the train
home with no problems.
