From my initial appointment to discharge, the service I received was exceptional. My consultant was extremely knowledgeable and
professional. On the day of the operation everybody on the ward and the operating team were amazing. Afterwards the physiotherapy
dept got me up and about quickly. Even though I was being treated under the NHS, the service I received was first class. I would not
hesitate to recommend this hospital to anybody considering a knee procedure.

Outstanding service throughout the process / procedure. Made to feel at ease from the outset. Mr Kordas and his team were very
supportive and took the time to explain everything. Dr Ikram and John provided pain free anaesthesia and Mr Kordas and Dr Ikram took the
time to find me post op to say it had all gone well. The ward staff (Daisy and Harriet) were very attentive and Kathryn provided
physiotherapy exercises and support to mobilise my new hip quickly. Looking forward to coming back for my second replacement.

The staff at Cherwell Hospital were friendly, compassionate, they put you at ease straight away , alway smiling no matter what ,
it’s like being part of the family. My room was spotless, and the meals were excellent couldn’t fault any of it . Being
here as a patient I would have no hesitation to recommend to my family and friends to have their surgery at the Cherwell. If you are
reading my review you will not be disappointed I promise you .

I was originally booked for 29th April 2020 for a Subacromial Decompression on my shoulder as an NHS patient. This was postponed due to
Covid-19 lockdown. I was rebooked for 6/7/2020, the first week of elective surgery starting up again after Covid-19 lockdown.
Communication from the hospital was regular and thorough, so I knew what was happening, I didn’t have to chase them at all. A new
pre-op assessment was carried out, I was told to self-isolate for 2 weeks prior to the op and a Covid test was done a few days before,
all with no difficulty and by abiding by the safety measures. I knew the hospital’s cleaning standards are second to none from my op
on the other shoulder 2 years before. I was reassured that every extra precaution had been taken and told that all the staff are
Covid-tested regularly. I was not allowed any visitors or anyone to accompany me on the day of surgery, but I was made to feel
completely at ease and was very well looked after. Mr Ali Shafighian is excellent at what he does. He operated 2 years ago on my
other shoulder and did such an amazing job and my experience at the Horton Treatment Centre was perfect that I wanted him to do the
other one for me. Kirsten Davies has been brilliant with my follow-up physio especially as it has all had to be by phone and video
call. I feel as well looked after as if I had physical physio appointments. Thank you to every member of staff on my hospital
journey here from my first consultation to the op to the after-care! Their friendly, caring ways and standard of patient care is
first-class!
